The Voice of Canada's Home Inspection Industry

The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors® (CAHPI®) helps to educate and protect individuals through one of the largest investments they will ever make. The organization is a national collective, to promote and develop the home inspection profession. The CAHPI® has established the most widely recognized guidelines for home inspections across the nation.

The business of home inspections became widespread in the 1970’s, as home buyers recognized that finding a qualified home inspector was as important as the hiring of a real estate professional. The CAHPI® was then established in 1982 to protect home buyers’ interests.
